House Rules for the Ferienwohnungen am Stausee Apartments

Dear Guests,

You are spending your holiday in a private vacation apartment. We have taken great care in furnishing it and hope you will enjoy carefree holiday days in our apartment. The following house rules describe how we expect the apartment and its furnishings to be treated. We would appreciate it if you left the apartment and its contents in the condition you found them. Proper treatment of the apartment helps us continue to offer a pleasant space for you and future guests. By making a binding booking, we assume you accept these house rules.

General

  • All items in the apartment, on the terrace or balcony, may and should be used by guests. Please handle all furnishings and inventory with care.
  • The tenant must treat the rental object with care and ensure that accompanying guests also adhere to the rental terms.
  • Furniture should not be moved inside or brought outside.
  • Do not reprogram any devices, especially heating systems. Any unauthorized changes may result in technician fees (approx. €350–400) if corrections are needed after checkout.
  • Beds are made upon arrival. Please remove the bed linens upon departure and leave them in the bathroom.
  • You are responsible for cleaning during your stay. A cleaning fee of €200 will be charged if the apartment is left in a very poor condition.
  • No smoking inside the house. Use an ashtray when smoking outside and dispose of cold cigarette butts in the residual waste. Any burn damage will be charged to the tenant.
  • The apartments are connected to a fire alarm system.
  • Lock windows and doors when leaving the apartment. We are not liable for theft or burglary.
  • Do not leave the key inside when leaving the house, as the door cannot be opened from outside without it.
  • Children must be supervised. We assume no liability for injuries or damage.
  • Please respect local quiet hours: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Kitchen

  • Only store clean and dry dishes, pots, and utensils in the cabinets.
  • Do not place hot pots directly on tables or countertops. Use cutting boards when using knives.
  • Leave the oven and microwave clean and use baking paper when cooking.

Ventilation

To prevent excessive moisture and mold, please ventilate the rooms regularly (especially bedrooms and bathrooms) using brief, intense airing.

Parking / Driveway

You are provided with a designated parking space for your stay. This does not constitute a storage contract. We are not liable for damage or theft of vehicles or their contents. Refueling and vehicle maintenance on the property is prohibited.

Internet & Wi-Fi

You may use the Wi-Fi free of charge with your device (laptop, smartphone, etc.). However, internet availability is not guaranteed. Each apartment has its own Access Point and an additional outdoor one. The connection is provided via Starlink. You will receive a code upon check-in or via the guest portal.

Usage is at your own risk. We are not liable for problems arising from internet use. Paid online content is excluded. Separate Wi-Fi usage rules apply and must be accepted with a signature.

Damage

Accidents happen. If you break something, please inform us immediately. This helps us avoid discovering damage only after your departure. You are liable for damages up to the replacement value. Small breakages like a broken glass or plate are excluded.

Waste Disposal

Please sort your waste into residual waste, glass, paper, and packaging (with the Green Dot). Proper bins are provided on-site. Use liners in all bins and tie bags before placing them in the appropriate container.

Do not dispose of waste, food remnants, or harmful liquids in sinks, toilets, or drains. Avoid anything that might cause blockages (e.g., no hygiene products in the toilet).

Departure

We ask you to leave the apartment in a tidy condition.

The following tasks are not part of the final cleaning and must be done by you before departure:

  • Empty the fridge.
  • Dispose of all leftover food.
  • Clean dishes and return them dry to the cabinets.
  • Clean the oven, microwave, etc., if used.
  • Dispose of all trash in the proper bins.
  • Turn off all appliances except the fridge.
  • Report any damage or missing items.
  • Sweep clean the apartment.
  • Leave all keys inside and pull the door shut securely.
